By day, I am a front-end web developer, shaping code into stunning websites. My craft includes content management systems like WordPress, as well as the basic tools of the trade, such as HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
By night, I play several other roles, including husband, father, blogger, podcaster, and tabletop gamer.
What’s the Story Behind the Name?
You have probably noticed that I have an unusual name. I get asked about it all the time. Where does it come from?
My parents were huge fans of a TV western called The Virginian, which aired from 1962 – 1971. Trampas was a cowboy on the show, played by actor Doug McClure. The series was based on Owen Wister’s 1902 novel The Virginian: A Horseman of the Plains, which is considered the first western.
